Looking Back at Maryse's WWE Career

As you all know, Maryse was released from her WWE contract yesterday. Let's take a look back at some of the big moments in Maryse's WWE career.

Her First Singles Match

On the May 16th, 2008 edition of Friday Night SmackDown! Maryse competed in her first ever singles match against Cherry. Sadly, she lost.

Becoming Divas Champion!

After a long feud against Michelle McCool, Maryse finally came out victorious. On December 26th, 2008 Maryse became Divas Champion! She was only the second woman to ever hold the title & that reign is still today the longest Divas Championship reign.

Drafted to RAW

In the 2009 draft Maryse was drafted to Monday Night RAW & she brought the Divas Championship with her, which soon led to a feud with Mickie James.

Her Big Return

After loosing the Divas Championship to Mickie James at Night Of Champions in 2009 & suffering a knee injury, Maryse made her big return on November 23rd, 2009. She was disguised as the Gobbly Gooker, who was the special guest time keeper for the 6 Diva Pilgrim VS Indian tag team match. After the match, Melina was doing an interview with Jerry Lawler in the ring, Maryse got out of the costume & attacked Melina from behind.

Becoming a two time WWE Divas Champion

After competing in a Divas Championship tournament, Maryse defeated Gail Kim on the Februrary 22nd edition of RAW to become Divas Champion once again, making her the first Diva to hold the Divas Championship more than once.

Her WrestleMania Moment

Maryse had her big WrestleMania moment at WrestleMania 26. She competed in a huge Diva tag match! Divas Champion, Maryse, teamed up with Alicia Fox, Vickie Guerrero, Layla & Women's Champion Michelle McCool to take on Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres, Gail Kim, Mickie James & Beth Phoenix. Maryse's team picked up the win when Vickie Guerrero pinned Kelly Kelly.

Becoming Ted DiBiase's Valet

On June 21, 2010 Ted DiBiase fired Virgil, making Maryse his new manager & on-screen girlfriend, giving Maryse a good storyline from July 2010 until around April 2011.

Her Last Match

Maryse competed in her last match on July 25th, 2011. She teamed up with former Diva, Melina to take on Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres. Sadly, Maryse & Melina lost. A week later Maryse was absent from a Divas Battle Royal. Later she announced on Twitter she would be undergoing abdominal hernia surgery. She underwent surgery in late August & never returned back to WWE television.

On October 28, 2011, WWE announced on WWE.com that Maryse had been released.

Today, October 28, 2011 is the day that Planet Sexy thought would never come. Maryse has been released from World Wrestling Entertainment, although it seems the she asked for the release & she is happy it is still very sad know we will never see Maryse in a WWE ring again.

Maryse had an amazing career for the time she was in WWE. Debuting in 2006 on SmackDown! and winning the Divas Championship in December of 2008, becoming only the second Diva to ever hold the title. She has shown her amazing talent & charisma in & out of the ring. After an injury back in 2009 Maryse was out for a knee injury for several months. She made a huge return dressed as the Gobbly Gooker & attacking Melina. In February of 2010 Maryse once again won the Divas Champion. She was the first Diva to hold the title more than once & the longest reigning champion. Later she became the host of NXT before having another injury. Maryse's last WWE match was back on July 25th. She & Melina teamed up to take on Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres. I only wish now, that then, I would've known it would be her last match. She had great storylines with Cherry, Maria, Michelle McCool, Mickie James, Eve Torres & more. Maryse will always be one of the WWE's top Divas. She had great acting skills in all of her segments in WWE & connected with the fans in ways no other WWE Superstar or Diva could. Maryse will truly be missed.

I am seriously shocked & saddened. I am not sure if Maryse requested the release or now (more news to come!). Her last match was a tag team match with Melina against Kelly Kelly & Eve back in July.

Maryse retutning to the ring soon?

For the past couple of weeks rumors have been spreading all over the Internet about Maryse returning to the ring soon. Wrestling News Websites have posted many different things including that she has been cleared to return but Maryse has NOT confirmed anything herself, except that her surgery went well. Also this past Sunday night Maryse tweeted a picture of herself, where she looked to be backstage at an arena, so this past Monday everyone expected Maryse to be on RAW & she wasn't. Then Maryse tweeted "Going on vacations!!!!!! be sexy". Since she's going on vacation I wouldn't think she will be back this Monday either, but I think Maryse needs to take her time returning & come back at the right time & I hope she enjoys her vacation!

Maryse Surgery Updates!

Hello Planet Sexy! So, as you know Maryse had her surgery this past Wednesday & it went great!

She posted these two new TwitPic's to her Twitter - one of herself with the nurses & one of her "boo boo" as she called it on Twitter.

Maryse posted this message to her official Facebook telling her fans how the surgery went: "I am home now, and feeling good, still very tired from the anesthesia, but its normal, i will be posting pics of my tummy when they remove the bandages, my doctor did an amazing job and the scar should be very small in my belly button! be sexy"

Glad Maryse's surgery went smoothly & I hope she has a fast & easy recovery!

- "i am getting my my abdominal hernias repair tomorrow, finallllyyyyy!!!!"

Maryse is getting her surgery/repair tomorrow so everyone wish her luck via Twitter! Hopefully we will see the sexiest of sexy back in the WWE ring soon! We wish her a quick & easy heeling.

Court Grants Maryse 3 Year Restraining Order from stalker

Maryse went to court today for her stalker issue & she won her case! TMZ reports Maryse gets a three year restraining order against stalker who can't come within 300 feet of her for three years.

The man accused of stalking WWE star Maryse Ouellet has been legally banned from going anywhere close to the beauty for the next 3 years ... TMZ has learned.

An L.A. County Superior Court judge granted Maryse's request for a restraining order against 61-year-old Lee Silber this morning -- requiring the guy to stay at least 300 feet away from the Diva ... for the next 3 years.

As we previously reported, Ouellet claims Silber has been harassing her constantly -- leaving more than 50 delusional voicemails on her cell phone ... and sending her increasingly scary letters, promising to track her down in L.A. and "take me to heaven with him."

Several attempts to reach Silber were unsuccessful.

UPDATE: Maryse was accompanied to court by WWE superstar The Miz. On their way out of the courthouse, both WWE stars were pretty tight-lipped, but seemed satisfied with the result.

The one & only Maryse! She speaks French to Virgil. "What will you do for protection?" Virgil asks (meaning protection from bigger, meaner WWE Superstars). "I'll go to the drug store!" Ted replies. The crowd laughs & the new Million Dollar WWE Couple leave.
